Give your child the opportunity to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a safe, structured, and fun environment designed specifically for kids and youth. Our program focuses on building confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills while ensuring each student enjoys the learning process.

Resilience BJJ Kids Programs

Introductory Program

All new students with no prior experience begin with our Introductory Program (2–4 days depending on grasp of material). This provides a safe, guided entry into jiu-jitsu fundamentals before joining regular classes. Required for new adults and kids joining our full program. Free trial periods available.

Tiny Tots (Gi) – Ages 3½ to 5

A playful introduction to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for our youngest students. This class develops motor skills, coordination, and basic BJJ awareness through age-appropriate games and movements. Children must be potty-trained, and a parent/guardian must remain on-site during class. Click here to learn more about this class.

Kids Class (Gi) – Ages 6 to 15

A structured, progressive class teaching foundational and intermediate jiu-jitsu techniques adapted for youth. Emphasis is placed on discipline, character development, and technical learning. Teens aged 16+ or significantly larger students may transition to adult classes early with instructor approval.

Kids No-Gi Class – Ages 6 to 15

This class introduces youth students to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques in a No-Gi setting. Students will learn how to apply fundamental movements, positional control, and submissions without relying on the grips and holds used in Gi training. Emphasis is placed on agility, control, strategy, and body awareness through structured instruction, drilling, and age-appropriate live training. The class is ideal for kids who want to supplement their Gi training, build confidence, or prepare for No-Gi competition.

Strength & Conditioning – Ages 13+

This fitness-focused class enhances athletic performance using functional training, resistance work, mobility, and conditioning. Open to all – no BJJ experience required. Great for general health or as a supplement to jiu-jitsu training.
